A clear case of Premeditaed fraud: |
|
Dear neighbours: Back in 2003 and during a short visit to our beloved Egypt, it was suggested by one of my relatives to purchase a place in El-Rehab. My wife and I were thinking about it since we have been living in the USA for 40 years and come to spend the winter monthes in Egypt after retirement.
I remeber that we came to the Sales Dept. and were guided by a salesman throughout the youg and beautiful city streets. He was showing all services like banks, schools, medical centers, club, moles..etc mentioning that they all belong to the residance We were very impressed that we decided to purchas a Villa and a year later we took it over with a great disappointment in the way that was finished. Anyhow, we went through it and still were so happy that we decided to purchase 7 more apartments, 3 in Phase -5, 2 in Phase- 9 and 2 in Madenaty for the purpose of investment.
Eversince, we came every year to escape the cold weather and we noticed the deterioration of the services and maintenance in the city. I had few meetings with the those who are managing the city suggesting verbaly and in writing ways to improve such services. I even offered that one of them to come to my township here in the USA to observe similar housing complex managaement.
Last winter trip, I met with Mr. El-Tony for about 2 hours expressing my concern to find that there are groups of other concern people named RehabOwners and Tatweer Scociety. I had the honor of joining them and we unfortunately had to seek legal actions after we found out that the increase in maintenance costs was unparallel to the level of services.
Now, and after Sham El-Nasime chaos, and the stupid queastionair, we come to the great shock of knowing that the city is a district (Haie) and not a privately owned one. We were sold a bag of lies by the company and their saleman. This what we call "Premeditated Fraud".
Now and after 40 years of living in the states we are not use to this kind of behaviour especially from a respectabl and reputable company. The Foreign Minstry and the Minstry of Investment must investigate this case so when they campaign for investment in Egypt, they will not disappoint many of us. All the best
