Excersises can be done during your daily life.

I refer to my introduction in order to emphasize the fact that physical excersize can be accomplished during anyone's daily life. When I was handled my Villa in the 4th Phase in 2004, my wife and I spend a 2 days to clean after the workers and everyone of my relatives and neighbours was surprised to see what we are doing asking us to hire someone to clean it for us.

We must get use to the fact that we can do many things around the house and at work saving themselves lots of money and in the same time excersise for health. I feel bad when I see a middle aged man or a women standing smoking cigaretts while the worker is washing his or her automobile, somthing they can do and save themselves lots of expenses. Walking to the mosque 5 times a day or at least every Friday is some form of excersise. Cleaning our homes, trimming our bushes ..etc. are all required to keep in good health.

I remeber when I decided to paint the iron gates to my Villa last winter I went to the shop and bought the paint and the brush. The owner ,whom I got to be a friend of his, asked me if I need someone to do the painting, actualy my answer was, no I will do it myself to the surprise of neighbours and security personals calling me OSSTA which I did not mind.

We complain about the cost of daily living and forget that we can save lots of expense by doing many things ourselves. By doing all these things we gain lots of knowledges and experiances in many other areas in life, like plumbing, gardening, electericals,...etc. even if we decide to hire someone to do it, we will understand what he is going to do and not to overcharge us.

If we all do these things we will get the benefits of excersise like and equal to those who walk many miles a day and better yet save ourselves lots of money.

كلام حضرتك رائع ومنطقي يا أستاذ علي وأشكرك جدا لتذكرينا بهذه الحقائق المهمة كما أنه يذكرني بالكيفية التي كانت تربى عليها بنات العائلات وكيف كانت تلك الفتيات تتعلم العزف على البيانو والخياطة و كل ما يخص تربية الأولاد ورعاءة الزوج وشئون المنزل

و رغم أنه لم يكن من المفترض أن تقوم إحداهن بالعمل اليدوي بنفسها لكن وكما علمني أخي الأكبر وكما ذكرت أنت أيضا يجب أن نتعلم كيف يتم العمل ونتقنه حتى إذا جاء من يقوم به نيابة عنا نعرف كيف نتابعه وهل قام بالعمل كما ينبغي أم لا وحتى لا يغالي في حسابه لنا على أساس أننا لا نعلم

وبما أننا متفقون من حيث المبدأ فلي طلب

أرجو أن تخصص ساعتين فقط عند حضورك إلى مصر في المرة القادمة إن شاء الله للاجتماع بمن يريد الاستفادة من تجربتك ولنقل مثلا تحدد أن يكون الحديث عن الطلاء ويمكنك أن تشرح لمن يريد القيام بذلك بنفسه ما يحتاج إليه من أدوات وكيفية التعرف على الأنواع الجيدة من الطلاء وشرح مبسط لعملية الطلاء نفسها

واقترح أن تكون تلك الاجتماعات دورية ويحضر إليها الجيران للتعارف وتبادل الخبرات

إنها أشياء بسيطة لكننا قد لا ندرك بساطتها ومدى سهولة القيام بها وسوف تقوي أواصر العلاقات بين الجيران في الرحاب

soma 08/10/2010	د/ علي ... كلامك صح جدا .. بس للأسف دي ثقافة هنا في مصر " أدي العيش لخبازة ولو ياكل نصه " طبعا احيانا بيبقى مهم اننا نستعين بالخباز ... بس في حاجات كتير قوي ممكن نعملها بنفسنا من فترة وجيزة قمت بعمل سوف اشارك بموضوع عنه ان شاء الله قريبا وكان الأمر يتطلب مني شراء بعض الدهانات ... وكنت اذهب بنفسي لأشتريها من محلات الدهانات في السوق ... حيث اواجه بعلامة استفهام كبيرة على وجوه اصحاب المحلات والعاملين بها ... ويأتي نفس السؤال عاوزة حد يعملك الشغل ... لأ انا عارفه انا عاوزة ايه وهعمل ايه.. وعل فكرة يا أمل دي مسأله سهلة قوي وكل طلاء مكتوب عليه طريقة استخدامه وممكن تسألي نفس البياع دا يتوازى مع ظاهرة الديليفري للأطعمة ...حتى الأكل بقينا عاوزين ناس تعملهولنا !!!!!!!!!! المسأله عاوزة بس شوية حركه من الناس .. وزي مابيقول د/ علي هتوفر فلوس وتنشط الدورة الدموية ... وبكل تأكيد هتشعر بانجاز يسعدك تحياتي د/ علي

Amel 08/10/2010	أنا اقترحت البياض على سبيل المثال وطبعا هناك مجالات عديدة يمكننا التحدث عنها لكن في الحقيقة موضوع البياض بالذات يشعر الناس أنه هم ثقيل واعتقد أن هذا الإحساس حقيقي لأن معظم الناس في مصر لا تقوم به إلا على فترات متباعدة جدا ولذلك يستغرق وقتا طويلا ويجعل الناس تشعر أنه موضوع كبييييييييييييييير لذلك إن استطعنا أن نجعل بعض الرحابين يجربون ولو حتى في غرفة واحدة فسوف يدركون إمكانية تكرار ذلك على نطاق أوسع والجميل في مثل تلك الأنشطة أنها تجمع العائلة كلها في نشاط واحد فتكون فرصة للنقاش بين أفر اد العاشلة وقضاء بعض الوقت مع بعضهم البعض الأمر الذي أصبحنا نفتقده في بعض بيوتنا

Aly Sharaf 08/10/2010	Dear Neighbours: I have to admit that when I left Egyprt, I did not know how hit a nail with a hammer. Now I love to do everything myself even when I make a mistake I learn from it. Everything is on the net in HOW TO website. I learned how to instal ceramic tiles on the floor and on the wall and many many things and enjoy doing either for myself or for some one else. One of the things that I noticed in Egypt that people live to themselves. In my house here when I decide to anything inside or outside, my neighbour brings his tool box and come over to see if he can help me, talk and socialize until we finish the project. Talking about tool box, I brought with me to my Villa in El-Rehab and along many trips all the tools that you think of. From saws to drills, nails, electricals....etc. which I used many times to repair things in my place and the neighbour's villas. It is a good social gather that bring us together in a team work and each one knows something the other does not know. In El-Rehab where majority of us lived abroad and saw all these things, it will not be difficult to help each others as long as we love to do it. It will be easy to push aside the old traditions and BASHA, BEAK..etc show off. Let us be the pioneersa and many will follow. As soon as I come for my vacation, I shall have lots of meetings to call for. Many remeber when I moderated the residence's meetings last winter which resulted in the group of four team who is legaly asking the JEHAZ about many of the violations throughout the city. We need to change ourselves so we obtain the change that we are seeking. All the best.
